What are we looking for?
APICBASE is a fast-growing start-up. To accelerate growth, we are looking for hands-on B2B Business Development Manager Germany. You will join the APICBASE team and are willing to engage on the long term. You will be responsible for executing the sales action plan, engaging with customers from start to finish in Germany.
You support APICBASE in developing the sales strategy;
You attract new customers through prospection, appointments and visits;
You follow up your customers, through the whole sales process.
You spend 30% off your time to companies that are already customers (farming, up-selling and deep-selling).
Identify and generate potential customers and targets in the market.
You spend 70% off your time to companies that aren’t a customer (yet) (hunting).
You join network events and fairs.
Who are you?
You have several years of experience in B2B sales. Knowledge of food industry is a plus, not a must;
You take on full responsibility to execute the sales cycle from plan to close;
You are a commercial talent and you are hands-on: you are willing to give product demos to customers;
You are commercial and sales results driven. You have the ability to achieve objectives;
You know what farming, up-selling, deep-selling and hunting mains.
Your mother tongue is German but you have a thorough knowledge of English.
You have skills in building and maintaining excellent relationships;
You have a demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of an organization;
You are a good listener;
Prior experience in a start-up context is a bonus;
